Este aumento se debe principalmente al crecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n y los ingresos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pesar de este aumento, se espera que en los pa\u00edses de altos ingresos, el consumo de carne per c\u00e1pita se estabilice debido a cambios en las preferencias de los consumidores y al crecimiento m\u00e1s lento de la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para el a\u00f1o 2030, se espera que las aves representen el 41% de los productos c\u00e1rnicos mundiales, mientras que la carne de vacuno representar\u00e1 el 20%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Aumento en producci\u00f3n de carne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El informe del PNUMA tambi\u00e9n predice un aumento del 5,8% en la producci\u00f3n de carne para 2030 en comparaci\u00f3n con el per\u00edodo base de 2018 a 2020. Sin embargo, la regi\u00f3n de Asia y el Pac\u00edfico es la \u00fanica donde se espera que la producci\u00f3n de carne per c\u00e1pita aumente para el a\u00f1o 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se espera que la tasa de crecimiento m\u00e1s alta para la producci\u00f3n de carne de vacuno se de en \u00c1frica subsahariana con un 15%, debido al fuerte crecimiento demogr\u00e1fico. Adem\u00e1s, se prev\u00e9 que la producci\u00f3n de carne crezca un 6% en Am\u00e9rica del Norte y disminuya un 5% en Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cambios en el consumo per c\u00e1pita de carne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<cite><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">En China, el segundo mayor consumidor de carne vacuna del mundo, se espera que el consumo per c\u00e1pita aumente un 8% para 2030<\/mark><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En China, el segundo mayor consumidor de carne vacuna del mundo, se espera que el consumo per c\u00e1pita aumente un 8% para 2030, en comparaci\u00f3n con una tasa de crecimiento del 35% en los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os. Por otro lado, se espera que el consumo per c\u00e1pita de carne disminuya en un 7% en Argentina y Canad\u00e1, y un 6% en Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Perspectivas sobre la carne cultivada<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El informe tambi\u00e9n aborda la carne cultivada en laboratorio y destaca que, con los continuos avances tecnol\u00f3gicos en el campo, se espera que los costos de la carne cultivada se vuelvan competitivos con los de la carne tradicional.
